SCHOOL OF MUSIC::: YOUR UNKNOWN COMPETITION.

First I want to say compliments of the season to all of you music great minds reading this post. In this season of celebration, I pray that in your own music career, you will be celebrated all over world. I pray that your songs will cause your fame to go abroad and more lives will be impacted through you.

Today I am speaking to you about your UNKNOWN competition. I know a lot of us don't like the word competition but whether you know it or not, we are in some kind of competition. This post is not really about competition in the sense of it but t open your eyes to something serious.

Before now, the secular artistes seem to be the ones we are "competing" against in terms of standard and quality. You know how they say it that most church videos are shot in a garden with flowers or under bridge with a few girls dancing village dance in it.. lol. The secular artistes videos on the hand were clean and beautiful and they seem to have set the standard that everyone is pushing the gospel artistes to emulate.

Now it's not that the gospel artistes don't like to do such quality videos then but the problem remains that they didn't have the funds to sponsor such quality music videos. But now the music is different. Gospel artistes are now on top of the game, producing high quality audio and videos. I know a few Gospel videos shot abroad. This is possible because of MONEY. The Gospel artistes with the MONEY are setting a new STANDARD. You need to take this thing I am sharing with you seriously.

Your Unknown Competition now are the successful gospel artistes. Now I explained to you that the word competition as used here doesn't mean "fighting to win a particular prize" but it means the standard you are required to meet up with. You get it? The successful gospel artistes have raised the bar and the standard for you. As an OAP when someone send me a song, I am expecting to hear quality sound like I hear in TIM Godfrey's song, Frank Edwards songs, Sinach song, Eben songs etc. When you shoot a video, we are expecting to see beautiful quality pictures like we see in the videos of those big names. You need to wake up to this reality now. Understand that the bar has been raised and it continues to get higher.

Why am I sharing this thing with you? These big artistes are able to do this because they now have money, money that comes from the INFLUENCE they have build through their hit songs. EBEN was at THE EXPERIENCE 2019 and he was also at AKWA IBOM STATE XMAS CAROL amongst many other mega church platforms he ministered. What that means is that his Influence is bringing him more than enough money to fund the ministry with excellent sound audio and quality videos.

Most of you young artistes who carry the badge ministry in your forehead are so ignorant of what is really happening. I hear some of you become so defensive when you try teach and open their eyes to creating Influence that will bring you money to fund the ministry and do it excellently, you are quick to say you are not doing it for money.. but you are begging people for money to record songs and shoot music videos. You are begging bloggers and presenters to help you promote your songs. You prefer being a beggar than doing the right thing that will bring honor and glory to God abi?before you start shouting that it's better to be a beggar for God, Calm down and listen to me. God is not honored or glorifies in your begging. You can't be a beggar for God, you are a beggar for your foolishness and ignorance.

To meet up with the competition (Standard and quality), you need to build Influence by creating hit songs.
