SCHOOL OF MUSIC: YOUR MINDSET VS INFLUENCE.

I once read an interesting story about a little boy who was troubling his father, out of frustration, his father took a paper that had the picture of the world map on it, tore it into pieces and gave it to the little to arrange the paper back to form the map of the world. In his mind, the little won't be able to get it right because he doesn't even know the names of all the countries in the world, let alone knowing their position on the map.

To his amazement, the little got the map arrange in just a few minutes and got it arranged correctly. His father was shocked at such brilliance and inquired of the boy to know how he was able to make this happen.
The little boy smiled and told his father that at the back of the map of the world, is a picture of a man. So what he did was to get the man's picture arranged correctly, once the man is right, the world is right too.

Amazing right? Yeah. Today I want to speak to you about your mind. I want to borrow something from that story to speak to you artistes who will be reading this.

Once your mindset is wrong, everything else is wrong. If your mindset is right, everything else will be right. Now think about that for a while.

Most of you artistes can never blow.. now I am not swearing for you ooo so calm down and listen. Most of you have a wrong mindset about Fame, Influence and Ministry. Just like some people will remain poor because they have a wrong mindset about money, that's how so people can not blow and become Influential in music.

You must have a good mindset about Fame. If you think fame is bad then you might not desire it and most likely not get it. Nothing in itself is bad. It is people that abuse privileges.

I always say, the more fame and influence you get as an artiste, the more lives you will reach and impact. The more your messages travel far.

You must get your mindset right, otherwise you won't engage the right effort that will produce Influence.
You can't get what has not settled in your mind.  

As a man thinks in his heart, so is he..

Remember the story of Lazarus and the Rich man, Lazarus had God but even God couldn't help him because he had a poor mindset. Bible said Lazarus would go to the Rich man's house desiring to feed of the crumbs that fell off the table. What a mindset. He never for once go to ask the Rich man for job or business opportunity to make money. He was satisfied with mediocrity.

That's what happens most artistes. Because they have a wrong mindset about Influence, they remain comfortable in mediocrity and mediocrity will keep you in obscurity.

Have a positive mindset today towards Influence, desire fame, work for it and use it to influence the Earth for kingdom purpose.

Truth is that they are actually active in music but you don't get to hear them because they have no more hits. Yes many of them are releasing and promoting their songs ooooo but for where?
