SCHOOL OF MUSIC::: FATHER'S BUSINESS.

I have been doing a series on "Business of Music" for a while and I am happy with the feedbacks I got so far. It's good to know that you are getting value.

Business of Music is a huge and very critical topic that can not just be addressed with a few articles on Facebook. Everything I am sharing on this topic is actually just elementary. As I said, I will teach the deep secret of the Business of Music in my SCHOOL OF MUSIC COACHING AND MENTORSHIP CLASS. In the mean time, let me open your eyes to one tiny secret.

The title of my article is "Father's Business". I actually coined that from Jesus' statement. In the Bible, Jesus said to his mother that he was busy doing his FATHER'S BUSINESS. Now notice that this was the first time that Jesus would be introducing his ministry and he introduced it as a Business. Was Jesus doing ministry for money? No... Of course you dare not say yes.. Hehehehe. Now the question you should ask yourself is was Jesus actually running Ministry as Business? The answer is YES.

If you have been following my post on this series, you already know that Business is not about money but it involves money only as a means not an end. You see when you run your ministry or career as a Business, Money will run after you because the career or ministry will build the structure that attracts money.

Have you ever wondered why Jesus had staff? ( 12 disciples ) and in his work force, the only designation mentioned was TREASURER, a position occupied by uncle Judas Iscariot. Now if you are not too religious, you will understand that a treasurer is the keeper of money. That means Jesus was actually making money from ministry. Yes ooo, don't look at me like that cos it is true.

Listen. There are two powerful keys to Music Business and one of it is STRUCTURE. As a matter of fact, Structure is the second key to business. I will reserve the first key for my students biko. Money is not actually part of the keys to Business. But every time the two keys of Business is in place, money will pursue you. As you can see, Jesus ran his ministry on the keys of Business. Chosing staff and appointing a treasurer is him putting structure to his ministry. Structure is a powerful key to business. Every ministry that succeeds in the world is definitely run as a Business.

Christ Embassy as a church has a CEO and that's not pst Chris ooo.. Joyce Meryer ministry has a CEO and that isn't Joyce Meryer either. Winners chapel runs on organized structure. Directors, board of directors etc. Organized structure. These ministries operate a Business model and that makes all the difference. That separated them from the rest. While some ministries are struggling to pay their rent, these ones are buying jets. You think they are doing ministry for money? Nah they simply understood "Kingdom Business"

You see any career or ministry that is not run as business, will not meet a target need of the audience and will never make impact. This is a fact. It will also not have a structure that will attract money. This is the major reason Gospel Artistes struggle for years. Most of them labour so much and still broke. The problem is that they don't understand the Business of Music. Once you understand this concept I am sharing with you, your struggle is over. You won't even think of money but money will be pursuing you. Doing music for money is a recipe for failure. Just have a business approach to your career and money shall be added unto you.
