SCHOOL OF MUSIC::  DISADVANTAGES OF BEING A ONE HIT ARTISTE part 2..

In the part one of this post, I shared some deep stuff about the disadvantages of being a one hit Artiste and why you should not be comfortable with having just one hit song even if it's a supposed EVERGREEN song. Later in another of my post I will share some deep secrets on this EVERGREEN songs and why you can't trust your entire career on it if that's the only hit you have.

Now this post is not for artistes who are praying for just one hit songs to blow them ooo. It is for artistes who wants to build massive Influence by Intentionally creating hit upon hit songs.

I stated clearly in part one that one song can't sustain your career/ministry in this season. We are currently having hundreds of songs released everyday and that means more possibility for more hit songs to come out. It won't be long before your one hit start losing value. This is why you need to learn how to create hit songs Intentionally so you can keep bringing new hits and keep your Influence and relevance.

Today I want to speak on another disadvantage of being a single hit Artiste and that is "poor stage performance". Now before you argue this, calm down and follow me carefully. When you watch a music concert like THE EXPERIENCE and the likes, you would notice that artistes with plenty hit songs like EBEN have better connection with the audience. The audience literally take the performance from them. Their ministration is always power packed, no dull moment and intensed. Now you can't do that with a single hit. Imagine you have 30 minutes to 1 hour to minister, how long can you sing that your one song? Unless you resort to singing other people's songs which in itself is a crime ( theft of intellectual property ).

It is wrong for you to go and sing people's songs in events and still collect money. You are simply making money off the artistes and sincerely you are not different from those pirates in Alaba market.

You see why I said being a one hit Artiste will limit your performance? You will have a poor connection and poor performance. When all you have is one hit, you will want to save it for last. Start with some unknown songs and move to the hit. During this time your audience are disconnected. People like EBEN starts with a hit, continue with hits and end with a hit. Can you beat that?

Before you start saying that state performance is a skill, I believe you know Frank Edwards. Sincerely frank's stage performance is very poor, but you know what? He still kills the Audience because he's got loads of hits and that's why he's still very relevant and dominating the big stages till tomorrow.
