SCHOOL OF MUSIC::: Consistency is JUST the Key Holder.

Somehow as I read the title of school of music article tonight, I just smiled. It sounded a bit funny to me but it spoke volume at the same time. I haven't been able to post for two days because I was busy with a client that needs urgent attention. If I tell you that great songs are on their way, better believe me ooo. This is one reason I am making this post.

Just a few days ago, I was chatting with one of Africa's greatest music producers I know,  Akintayo Olanrewaju Timothy Audio5 studio Boss. As we talked, I ended the conversation by telling him to stay consistent because consistency is the key to success.

I know so many of you reading this post now also heard and believed for donkey years that consistency is key. Truth is that Consistency is not the key anything, it is just the "Key Holder" ooo. Now this article is directed to music artistes but not limited to them alone as it applies to everyone in anything they do in life. Being consistent is not enough. Don't argue oo just follow me jejely.

When I first posted my SCHOOL OF MUSIC COACHING AND MENTORSHIP PROGRAM, an artiste reached out to me and explained how he has been doing music consistently for years, even released two music albums but yet no results to show for it and for this reason he decided to sign up for the program. Many of you especially Gospel Artistes are on this table. You have been consistent and persistent for ten or twenty years and yet nothing to show for your efforts, no results. But you are still singing consistency is key. Ask yourself a sincere question, why has your effort not yielded its desired results? Be sincere with yourself. You think God is that wicked to allow you struggle and waste so much money and other valuable resource for years and nothing to show for it?

As long as you function in ignorance, consistency and persistence won't make any difference in your career. Please read that again. Consistency is not the key to your success ooo, accurate knowledge is the key. Consistency in accurate knowledge is the way to success. When I say accurate knowledge, I am referring to knowledge of how to create or build Influence by Intentionally creating hit songs and making them go viral. If you lack this accurate knowledge, you can be recording and releasing the same kinds of songs you have always been doing that has not gotten you anywhere. In your mind you think you are really going to blow because you are consistent and persistent.

You have been doing this thing for ten years, have you not persisted enough? How long is even the approved time frame for struggling in the Nigerian Constitution? Shuuuu. You want to blow after you die? Your Influence is needed here while you are young, alive and healthy to add value to the kingdom of God. Now is the time. Enough of the struggle. Let me tell you something deep. The word consistency in the dictionary simply means to do something in the same way over a period of time. Persistence also means to continue to do something for a long time inspite of the opposition and difficulty. This is a serious set up my people. What if you are not doing it right in the way it will produce results and you continue doing it for ten years inspite of the difficulty and opposition, you think your results will be different?

The definition of insanity is consistency ( doing the same thing over again and again ) and expecting a different result from what you always had.

Listen Frank Edwards just dropped "Believers Anthem" if you haven't listened to it please do so now. In that Frank's video, I saw many Artistes who have been consistent and persistent for over ten years.. imagine this, you are persistently consistent in ERROR as a result of ignorance, while Frank , EBEN, SINACH etc are Consistent in knowledge, when do you think your results will gain their level of Influence that's if you even see Influence at all?

Don't be deceived with grammar, results speak better English oo. You need accurate knowledge to blow ( Build Influence ). I know many gospel Artistes that have been consistent for ten years and above ooo and their results are not anywhere near Influence. It is same as it was ten years ago. Stop trying to sound spiritual and receive sense now to act.

Truth is that they are actually active in music but you don't get to hear them because they have no more hits. Yes many of them are releasing and promoting their songs ooooo but for where?
