SCHOOL OF MUSIC- YOUR NOISE REVEALS YOUR VISION

SCHOOL OF MUSIC:: YOUR NOISE REVEALS YOUR VISION

Last year when I saw the billboards ads for Dr Tim Godfrey's Fearless concert at EKo Hotels and Suites, I was so full of joy and there are many reasons for that. I even had to write a personal letter to Dr Tim Godfery to thank him for taking such bold steps and allowing God to use him to raise the standard and structure for Gospel music.

Unfortunately, the same gospel Artistes that he was setting the stage for, preparing the table for and paving ways for are the ones with the loudest noise condemning him. There was so much noise on social media about that event. Many said he is now canal for putting a ticket to a gospel concert. Some said he's now after money. Lol. I sincerely laughed at their ignorance.

In my letter to him, I told him that many who are criticizing him today, will thank him later and I also mentioned that he has opened the door for more Artistes to walk through. Some of you will never know what it takes to get a corporate body sponsor a gospel event. You live in such a small dream in your small world but you make the loudest noise.

Truth is that your noise defines your vision and also reveals your level of ignorance. Music is an intellectual property and most times it cost you so much to create this materials, and to continue to create valuable materials, you need to find a way to earn money from them.

Some of you castigate an artiste for putting a ticket on a concert yet your song on Amazon has a price tag? You are just an ignorant hypocrite lol.

Some of you don't even have vision and dream for your career and when you see people taking giant strides to make big things happen, you start making noise on social media.

Can I shock you guys? SINACH has been doing paid concert for years now. Most of her international concerts in UK, USA, Canada are gated. You pay to enter and it is normal. In Ghana, South Africa and some African countries, it is normal to pay for music downloads and concerts. But Nigerian Gospel Artistes are even fighting those bring the light to them.

Sammie Okposo did Praise Party in Nigeria for free but took it to the UK and USA and put gate fees and it's totally normal.

If you are angry with this SINACH's banner on this post, it simply shows your level of vision or ignorance. We need more of this. This gospel is free but someone paid with his life. It is expensive to promote the gospel and if you don't have money to take your gospel to the nations of the Earth, you can speak all the grammar and make noise on social media but you are still not gonna be relevant.

I think Gospel community should learn to embrace and celebrate this achievement. This will do a lot of good to Gospel music and put a huge demand on Value and quality. Support by buying tickets, 2k is not enough. Anyways I am not surprised with some of you because I noticed that gospel Artistes in Nigeria don't even buy their fellow Artistes album in an album launch. It's well with us Sha. We should learn to be open minded, don't allow religion blind fold you. In one of my articles titled "Father's Business" I told you Jesus made money from ministry. Again I say it's well.
