SCHOOL OF MUSIC:: MONEY IS NOT YOUR PROBLEM.

I am excited in my spiritual spirit because of the kind of songs that were released this season. Hehehehe.. not just in my spirit ooo but my spiritual spirit.

You see erhn, the Artistes at the top are not playing ooo. Kai! Men are really at work trust me. As a young Artiste, you can't afford to not get superior knowledge to building Influence ooo..

I know you are wondering why I said money is not your problem? Ofcourse if I asked why you never blow, you will say it's because you don't have money to do your songs with big producers or even money to push or promote your songs. Notice that I used two separate words there right? push and promote are not the same thing ooo. In another post I might explain the difference to you. Truth is that some songs actually need a push rather than promotion.

Obviously you think that your problem is money. No sir, your problem is not money. Ok let's agree that you don't have money and no sponsor for your career, I still maintain that your problem is not money. Until you get knowledge, you will keep focusing on money. You are focusing on the wrong thing. I know the importance of money to building Influence, yes I do, but truth is that I have seen many Artistes with plenty money who could not blow a single song for years.

I used to know this secular artiste who spent over 5 million naira on one song, shot video in South Africa and spent heavily on promotion but song still didn't blow. What about people signed to multi billion naira record labels who could not blow? They had the money, sponsor and all the support, yet could not blow. Some of you here thinking money is your problem today, still wouldn't blow if you were signed to a record label or if you were given 10 million naira to invest in your career. You probably waste the money without blowing or simply just resign from music and use the money to build pure water factory. Lol.

I also know a few Gospel Artistes with plenty money who can't blow till now and may never blow. Some of you are actually looking for money to pour on concerts and live album recordings. That's a story for another post sha. You are actually looking for money for wrong reasons. Do you even know that the amount of money some of you use to organize one concert is enough to blow you if you know what to do?

Money is actually not the reason you have not blown. I know plenty artistes who blow without money. Yes ooo and anybody can do this too. All you need is knowledge. Shift your focus from money as a problem or challenge, I know you need money but how about the little one you are spending wrongly? Some of you record songs you have no business recording now. You shoot video to songs that don't even need a video now and spend money promoting songs you have no business promoting. Meanwhile that little money is enough to blow your songs and give you massive Influence but you don't know what to do.

Think of how to blow yourself with that little money you have. Truth is that you may never get a sponsor or have access to more money to invest in your career, so what? You will remain an upcoming Artiste for life? If you spend millions on a song that has no potential to blow, it will be a waste of money. I have seen songs that would not blow inspite of the amount spent to promote and I have seen songs blow with little or no promotion. Which do you prefer? SCHOOL OF MUSIC ::: THE STRUGGLE FOR RELEVANCE AFTER BLOWING Recently I have been thinking a lot about some artistes who dropped Hits back then and went extinct. Truth is that they are actually active in music but you don't get to hear them because they have no more hits. Yes many of them are releasing and promoting their songs ooooo but for where?
